Armitage
A specialist Boot made for over 100years by Harold Boot Company. Originally for the Boer and then First World Wars. It also comes with a cork rubber sole In Brumby for Hunting.

Comes in either Dark Brown McCartney Fine grained yearling leather upper with a Leather Sole or Brumby 2.4mm Australian Bull Hide Upper with a cork Rubber Sole. 1mm Kangaroo leather lining. Full Bellows Tongue means the boot fits all calf sizes. Poron padded footbed & 3/4 leather sock.

2mm Australian Fine Grained Steer Hide Leather Upper
1mm full Leather lined.
12 Iron Oak Tanned Butt Leather Sole
 Moulded Stacked Leather Heel With A Nitrile Rubber top piece
8mm Compressed Moulded Leather Heel Stiffener.
Moulded carbon fibre & fibre glass shank.
Oak Tanned Butt Leather Moulded Insole & mid sole
Reinforced Pull Tabs.
Poron padded footbed & 3/4 leather sock.
Side Seam Reinforced With Frenching Tape.
60 & 20 Bonded nylon rot free thread used in all upper stitching.

The Toughest Construction is Used

Fairstitch Welt

Leather upper cement lasted to butt leather insole which has poron laminated to it for extra comfort.
Cork filling applied and Moulded carbon fibre & fibre glass shank is attached under the arch for total support.
Butt Leather Mid-Sole is then laminated and blake stitched (machine Sewn) through upper to the Insole.
Oak tanned Butt Leather sole is then laminated to the Leather mid-sole.
Both mid-sole and sole brass wire screwed to base of boot through to the leather insole.
Mid-sole and sole welt stitched (for extra strength and durability)
Heel is then laminated to the sole and internally nailed using hardened buttress cling nails.
The Sole & Heel is then Trimmed to shape leaving a good Spur rest on The Heel
The boot is then cleaned, inspected and boxed ready for shipment.
